A Wolf's Tale By Brian Luke Leeman

My name is Luke , I am  a wolf and the Alpha of my pack.

I want to tell you the tale of how I found my soul mate Crystal and how she made live for the first time .

For as long I can remember my main goal in life was to be a  Alpha  like my Father Vincent  and thought that was my only  purpose in life .

My Father  saw the Alpha  in me and  made sure I had all the tools to be that.

My Father taught me how to settle  pack problems , how to ration out food orderly , and how to defend the pack .

But one thing My Father could not teach me was how to be a great Alpha , That was a hard lesson i would have learn on my own.

When My Father died of old age , i became the new Alpha .

My First year was the hardest , i made so many mistakes that  our pack almost didn't through the winter.

I learned a lot from my first year as alpha but  those mistakes from year made me cold .

I became what I Didn't want to be , I made my pack resent me  except for one , Crystal .

Crystal was a wolf that we adopted into our pack when i was a pup and was best friend growing up.

Crystal knew the real me and understood this wasn't the real me.

One morning as i was getting a drink of water  by nearby river  when Crystal opened my eyes .

Crystal :   Luke , may I have word with you?

Me:  Sure , whats on your mind my dear friend ?

Crystal : Why are you so angry ?

Me:  I'm not

Crystal : yes you are Luke , the whole pack has seen it and felt it . This is not the real you .

Me: You wouldn't understand

Crystal : I can if you let me , open up to me luke

Me: My first year as alpha i made so many mistakes and i have failed my father , the pack , and you.  I feel so angry and lost . I have no clue what i am supposed to do next .

Crystal:  Yes you made mistakes but you have not failed your Father , the pack , and you have not failed me. We all make mistakes  but it is what do with the lessons that we learn form those mistakes is what is important .  Luke , you need to let go of past and live .

Me:  Will you help me ? I said in tears

Crystal : yes luke , I will

From that day on i began to live in Freedom for the first time in my life thanks to Crystal.

Crystal and Me got married and had litter of pups .

If  I leave you with any advice is that Let go and live

Why Has Discipline Become Taboo In Today's Church?

Since I left Bible school in 2011 , there has been been on mind and my heart ,  Why has Discipline become so taboo in the church today ?

Now don't get me wrong  I fully believe we need to love like Jesus but for some reason Christians today forget that Jesus  show tough love . Don't believe me? lets look at some scriptures :  John 4: 4-18 :

Now he had to go through Samaria. So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph. Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon.
When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)
The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.[a])
10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”
11 “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? 12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?”
13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”
16 He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.”
17 “I have no husband,” she replied.
Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. 18 The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.

An  Matthew 21:12-13 : 12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 “It is written,” he said to them,“‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’[a] but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’[b]

There are other verses but theses verses clearly show that Jesus showed tough love .
With the woman at the well  , she had many husbands  and Jesus knew it . He told her sin with tough love and  did not sugar coat the truth . He did point her sin to make feel like less but to help her .
In Matthew 21:12-13,  Jesus  saw the evil that was being in his Father's house and corrected the sin that was being done .
The same things  are going  on in Church today, Christians are getting divorced  and using the Church for there own personal gain.

An there is also a big problem of sex before marriage , pastor's having gay sex , and  pastors performing same sex marriage.

For some reason Christian's look the other way  on these serious issues , when clearly the God's holy word says to deal and correct theses issues . An the reason for this is that they are afraid that accused of judging harshly or the don't want lose members of there Church. But is it worth avoiding the truth if it means  losing souls ?
Let look at some verses that about church discipline : Matthew 18: 15-17: 15 “If your brother or sister[b] sins,[c] go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’[d] 17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
1 Corinthians 5:5 : hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh,[a][b] so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.

The bible is very clear on Church Discipline  in these verses .

In Matthew 18:15-17 clearly and specifically sets forth the practical steps for confronting and correcting a wayward believer.
  1. First, one believer (usually the offended person) will meet individually with the other believer to point out the offense. If the brother or sister listens and confesses, the matter is resolved.
  2. Second, if the one-on-one meeting is unsuccessful, the offended person will attempt to meet with the believer again, taking with him one or two other members of the church. This allows the confrontation of sin and resulting correction to be confirmed by two or three witnesses.
  3. Third, if the person still refuses to listen and change his behavior, the matter is to be taken before the entire congregation. The whole church body will publicly confront the believer and encourage him to repent.
4.Lastly, if all attempts to discipline the believer fail to bring change and repentance, the person will be removed from the fellowship of the church.                                                                                                                              1 Corinthians 5:5  is say in extreme cases  ,  to hand the offender over to Satan because
it is sometimes necessary for God to use the devil to work in a sinner's life to bring him to repentance.

The Bible also tell us how to  Discipline in the right way in Galatians 6:1 : Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.

We need to correct a brother or sister in Christ  in Gentleness, humility, and love will guide the attitude of those who wish to restore a fallen brother or sister. Spiritual maturity and submission to the Holy Spirit's leading are needed, too.
Church discipline should never be entered into lightly or for minor offenses. It is a very serious matter calling for extreme care, godly character, and a true desire to see a sinner restored and the purity of the church maintained.
In 2 Corinthians 2:5-8 : If anyone has caused grief, he has not so much grieved me as he has grieved all of you to some extent—not to put it too severely. The punishment inflicted on him by the majority is sufficient. Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. I urge you, therefore, to reaffirm your love for him.
If the offender  has truly repented of his or her sin , then we  need to welcome them with love and forgiveness because we have all messed up and fall short of the Glory of god.
In closing , Please  don't take this as me wanted to condemn but know that this issue and other issues in the Church need to be dealt with.

What Is Real Beauty ? By Brian Luke Leeman

What is the definition of  Beauty?

The Merriam Webster Dictionary Definition of  Beauty is :  1
:  the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit       2 :  a beautiful person or thing; especially :  a beautiful woman
3
:  a particularly graceful, ornamental, or excellent quality

The  World's  messed up definition of Beauty  : For  Women :  skinny , perfect hair , big boobs, perfect skin,  and  a perfect butt.
For Men :  skinny with washboard abs ,  athletic,  perfect hair  ,  and a A list movie star smile.

Reality is that not all of us are like that  and probably never will.
I will admit i am not the most attractive person , i have jacked up teeth  and i am fat.

I am trying my best to fix these things but i know i will never have those model looks , an i am sort of okay with that.

I plan on losing 30 lbs by the end of the summer , not because  of society's opinion  , because i want be healthy and live the best life that i possibly can .

I think it is messed up that we let society dictate what real Beauty  .

Here is some stats and facts  from http://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org : Eating disorders are real, complex, and devastating conditions that can have serious consequences for health, productivity, and relationships. They are not a fad, phase or lifestyle choice. Eating disorders are serious, potentially life-threatening conditions that affect a person’semotional and physical health. People struggling with an eating disorder need to seek professional help. The earlier a person with an eating disorder seeks treatment, the greater the likelihood of physicaland emotional recovery.
In the United States, 20 million women and 10 million men suffer from a clinically significant eating disorder at some time in their life, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, or an eating disorder not otherwise specified (EDNOS) (Wade, Keski-Rahkonen, & Hudson, 2011). For various reasons, many cases are likely not to be reported. In addition, many individuals struggle with body dissatisfaction and sub-clinical disordered eating attitudes and behaviors, and the best-known contributor to the development of anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa is body dissatisfaction (Stice, 2002). By age 6, girls especially start to express concerns about their own weight or shape. 40-60% of elementary school girls (ages 6-12) are concerned about their weight or about becoming too fat. This concern endures through life (Smolak, 2011).
I don't  about you but i find this facts and stats disturbing .
Hollywood , the music industry ,  and magazines  tell  us what real Beauty is but when are we going to stand up and stop letting holly wood , the music industry , and magazines control the view of real Beauty is
I want to leave you with theses verses from 1 Peter 3:3-4 and a final thought from me

1 Peter 3:3-4

New International Version (NIV)
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

No matter the physical characteristics of any person, true beauty shines when actions show compassion, love, and spirit. Within the heart true beauty is found.
