ONE DAY AT A TIME BY BRIAN LUKE LEEMAN

How many times as Christians  do we worry ?

Most likely more then we can count on  our hands !

We worry about our jobs , family , friends .  our country,  the church, and so many other things.
NO!!!!!!!!!

Let's look at what God's Holy Word has to say about worrying : Matthew 6:25-27:

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?"

My favorite verse out of theses verses is verse 26 " Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.Are you not much more valuable than they?"

It so True , Birds don't store up food and yet there always food for them.

Sometimes  we let our problems get to us  to point were we forget God is bigger then our worries and us !

Theses last five years  God has showed me that He is watching out for me .
I have never been without , God has always provided for my needs.
I want make a point , God has Provided for what i need , not what i want .
Because just because i want certain things or certain things to happen in my life , doesn't mean its good for me.  God Knows exactly what you need !

Here is some more verses on worrying  :

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

With everything situation in life We need to come to God  and praise him in the good and in the bad.

When Lean God's understanding , we get such a peace that we know God's has our lifes in his hands .

Proverbs 3:5-6:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.[a]

When lean on our own understanding  , Things tend not go the right way.

But when we Trust in God's way , our path in life  becomes straight .

I going to leave you with a psalm and a Quote .

Psalms 121

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
    where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm
    he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.

Knowing that God is faithful, it really helps me to not be captivated by worry. But knowing that He will do what He has said, He will cause it to happen, whatever He has promised, and then it causes me to be less involved in worrying about a situation.-
